Q: I like to play the nickle slots. Some machines have 9 lines and 5 credits making it 45 credits per game. Other machines have more lines and more credits, 180 credits per game or more. Is it better for me to play the 45 credit game, or the higher credit games?A: There is not any difference other than the amount of money you are spending on each handle pull. The biggest thing to remember is to play all lines.

For me I play the nickle games to.. but i would rather play the max coin per line rather than max lines.. so on a 20 line slot I would play 7 or 9 lines at max bet.. remember that 180 nickels is $9.00 and 9bucks a pull at nickel slots is a bit much... You have to watch the math, though. Typically, the higher the denomination of the game, the higher the return percentage. As an example, assuming a casino has a $.25 denomination slot machine at 92.5% return and a $1.00 denomination (even of the same game theme) at 94.5%, you're better off betting one credit on the dollar game than four credits on the quarter game. You have to consider how much you are willing to wager per game. CAVEAT: My example doesn't take into account top-award bonuses and/or progressive win awards for playing 'Max Bet'.
