About Slot Machine Blog

Slot Machine Blog is a question-and-answer type of blog, where you ask the questions, and we provide the answers. The answers are written by an actual slot machine techician.

The types of questions can range from how to fix a machine, convert it from token to coin, to dispelling myths on payouts, how casinos adjust paybacks, how to improve your odds, as well as how machines track your usage. Send us whatever question you'd like answered, and we'll do our best.

The slot machine technician we rely on for answers remains anonymous, because for obvious reasons, he or she could lose their job if it becomes public. Rest assured, it's a real slot machine technician, and knows many things that the average slot machine player doesn't know!

  • Jackpot Limits are set by the game you have and cannot be changed. The jackpot is set by the game chip on the MPU (Main Processing Unit). It is setup up this way by gaming control laws to prevent casinos from cheating. You can convert your game to another game with a different jackpot that you want. This is easy enough to do but requires the game chips, reel chips, reel strips, glass and most important the set chips or key chips that allow you to set Denom. and enable the bill acceptor.
